The Resort has a dedicated and professional Group of Wedding Co-ordinators who can answer many of your concerns and general queries about your big day. We would normally prefer to make contact with you well before you have even booked your flight seats to Paradise, this way by the time you arrive in the heart of Polynesia we have already begun making detailed preparations for your wedding day. These are some of the most asked after questions we receive from couples and we feel you should use this as a basis for all your queries.

Documentation Required to Register in Samoa
To be married in Samoa, you will require your birth certificate and passports. If either of you has been married before and has since been separated/divorced, then you will need to present a Decree Absolute (Divorce) documentation. If you have been widowed then you will need to provide a Death Certificate of your spouse. Fax copies of these documents as well as a completed Intent to Marry form can be lodged with the Ministry of Justice prior to your arrival and it is essential that you bring the originals with you.

All Documentation should be in English and clear to read. You will also need to be in Samoa at least four working days before your intended date of marriage.

If you are travelling as a Tourist, you do not require a visa as long as you do not stay more then the 30 days allocated for a visitor. If you intend to stay after the 30 days then you will be required to apply to the Department of Immigration for an extension on your visitor's permit.

Weddings performed and registered in Samoa under the Department of Justice and Courts are internationally recognisable. A small fee is also payable to the Ministry of Justice in Apia

Who Will Perform the Wedding Ceremony
Samoa is an Island founded on God. Many if not most of the christian denominations are well represented in Samoa. You can have a Religious Celebrant or a Non Religious Celebrant perform your special day. The choice is yours!

Wedding Location.
In all 3 of our Wedding Packages and anyone that is tailor made to suit your special requirements, we offer a number of sites for your special day. Be it at a private island near the Resort, on one of our Idyllic beaches or in the Resorts very own 100 year old Chapel…. The choice and beauty of the location is endless.

You can choose from the Resorts lush colourful gardens or have it by the Poolside.

If you decide to have it in a traditional Samoan village setting then we can easily arrange for this to be done.

Many of our couples still prefer the beach setting. Samoa is blessed with white sand beaches and there are numerous ones you can choose from.
